Spin up a new job page in 30 seconds
Every big job now lives on its own page — team, gear, schedule, labour and live P&L, all in one link the whole crew can see. Here's how to create one and keep it current.
The idea
One job. One page. One source of truth.

No more chasing spreadsheets or asking "which version is right?". When a job is confirmed, you create a page for it straight from the Projects screen. It goes live instantly — everyone with the link sees the same thing, updated in real time. You fill in the detail on the page itself as the job comes together.

How to create one
Three steps
1
Open Projects and click + New Job
Go to the Projects page from the hub. The dashed + New Job tile is the first card in the grid. Click it — a short form pops up.
2
Fill in the quick form
Only two fields are required — Job Name and Year. Everything else you can add now or later on the page. As you type, it shows you the web address the page will get, like /projects/job/?id=asb-classic-2026.
Job Name *
e.g. ASB Classic
Year *
e.g. 2026

Hit Create Job →
Done. The page is built instantly, a card appears on the Projects grid for everyone, and you land straight on the new page ready to fill in the detail. Each page starts pre-loaded with the standard warehouse checklist and default labour rates so you're not starting from a blank slate.
Once the page exists
What's on a job page
Tab 1
Project
The overview — team & contacts, structures and gear, pack-in schedule, and open actions. The heartbeat of the job.
Tab 2
Labour
Log crew hours by day. Feeds straight into the numbers so you can see labour cost as it lands.
Tab 3
Expenses
Sub-hire, fuel, consumables, freight — log it here so nothing gets missed at reconcile time.
Tab 4
Profitability
Live revenue, cost and gross profit. Budget figures sit behind a PIN — see the rules below.
Making changes
Editing, live sync & who did what
✎
Hit ✎ Edit (top right of the page) to turn on editing. First time, it asks who you are — pick your name from the list. That's it.
🔴
Everything saves and syncs live. The green Live badge means you're connected — anyone else on the page sees your changes appear instantly.
🕒
Every page shows a Last edit · [name] · [time] stamp — on the page and on its card — so the team always knows who touched it last and when.
🔒
The budget / Profitability figures are protected by a PIN. If you need it and don't have it, ask Hayden.
Keep it clean
Three things that matter
①
Always pick your name when you start editing. The whole "who did what" only works if everyone does.
②
One page per job — don't create a duplicate. If a job already has a page, open that one. The system blocks exact duplicates, but a slightly different name will slip through. Check the grid first.
③
Log as you go. Hours and expenses entered during the job are worth ten times more than trying to remember them a week later.
